About
I am a PhD candidate with the Department of German and Romance Languages and Literatures at Johns Hopkins University. My research interests include modern Judeo-Italian literature, Yiddish literature, port literature, intersections between the visual arts and literature, and the Italian avant-garde. I hold a BA in Italian Studies, with a minor in Art History, from Hunter College. My dissertation will examine Jewish literature in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries in the port cities of Odessa and Trieste.
